    WAITSBURG-The Matbirds Calvin James and Charlie Reger each placed first in their first time wrestling at the first wrestling tournament of the season on March 11.     DW COMBINE—The Wolfpack led 9-2 in the first game of baseball action at White Swan before the Cougars took the lead after the fifth inning, winning 19-14.     DW COMBINE-The Wolfpack participated in the Kennewick Kickoff track meet on Thursday, March 16. The team competed against track athletes from Kennewick, Hermiston, Prosser, and Walla Walla. Alyssa Hollingsworth posted personal records (PR) in the 100-meter sprint with a time of 15.12 and jumped 13'4" in the long jump event. In the men's events, Teegan Kenney recorded three PRs.     DW COMBINE- On Saturday, March 11, DW high school track team members attended the season's first meet at the Walla Walla Jamboree at WaHi's Klicker Track.     DW Combine-Head Coach Carly Benavides is in her fourth year of coaching softball for the Dayton-Waitsburg Wolfpack.
