WAITSBURG — Coach Gabe Kiefel’s Waitsburg High School football team worked out some kinks in a jamboree at Pomeroy on Friday, August 30. “It went well, and every player who went was able to do good things on the field, including the freshmen who went in at the end,” said Kiefel. WAITSBURG-This summer, ten student-athletes from Waitsburg and Dayton participated in the NFL Flag Football program sponsored by Walla Walla Parks & Recreation. We spent the Fourth of July week with family and friends in Idaho at Winchester Lake State Park. We all enjoyed activities, including a community parade, fishing, kayaking, bike riding, bird watching, and fireworks.
