    As we approach Veterans Day, we reflect on many things. Those of us who are veterans, think about comrades we served with, missions carried out, places where we served, lessons learned, and how our lives were changed because of military service. Mostly we remember our comrades. We began as strangers from all over the country, standing in the same line at basic training waiting to be issued uniforms, boots, and gear.
