    I found this recipe in the Costco Connection and I liked that it used apple and cucumber. Remember the chicken poppy seed salad? It seems several chicken recipes have nuts and fruit. That one had pecans and grapes. I didn't make this one yet but will later. For me, this will be used as a salad. A few notes on cashews: Cashews are packed with antioxidants, vitamins E.     Ten Years Ago-September 4, 2008 Progress on the “Paint the Town” Project has built some momentum with pledges of paint, discounts and cash. Project volunteers met with building owners to make color decisions this week, so painting can begin in earnest this weekend. Buildings that are planned for painting this weekend are the EZ Way, Farmers Café’, and the Weller Library.     Almond Roca 1 c. butter 1 c. blanched, toasted 1 1/3 c. sugar almonds, toasted 3 Tbsp water 4 (4 ½ oz) Hershey bars 1 Tbsp light corn syrup 1 c. finely chopped almonds Melt butter, add sugar, syrup and water.
