Waitsburg resident, Robert Simpson Moulton, 69, passed away December 23, 2012, after a long, heroic struggle with cancer. Born March 12, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, to Robert and Dolcie Moulton, he moved to Waitsburg in 1990 and worked at the Prescott School District as a janitor until he retired in 2008. Robert was an avid fan of the Old West; he collected memorabilia and explored ghost towns in California and Nevada. DAYTON - Columbia County Health System board members are prepared to bend the by-laws a bit to help keep the board consistent for new Chief Executive Officer Dale Polla at the monthly hospital board meeting on Thursday, Dec. 27.
