DAYTON – The Columbia County Commissioners decided last week to establish regular workshops in addition to their twice-monthly board meetings. The workshops will begin in February and take place from 10 a.m. until noon every Monday in the commissioners’ board room on the third floor of the courthouse. DAYTON – Dayton School District will be honoring its 20-year state champions on Friday with a students’ spirit assembly at 2:10 p.m. and then with community members at another spirit assembly between the boys’ and girls’ basketball games against Waitsburg-Prescott at around 7 p.m. Both events will be in the Dayton High School gymnasium.
