    The Columbia County Friends of the Fairgrounds held a two day yard sale last week at the Fairgrounds Pavilion, to raise funds for updates and improvements to the fairgrounds. Furniture and other large items were a hit with customers, according to Tami Miller, Chelsea Mann, and Lee Ann Literal, who cashed them out last Saturday.     While putting away a recipe booklet, I noticed a recipe with sweet potatoes, pecans and blue cheese, and thought, 'what an interesting combination.'
