WALLA WALLA – The Dayton Bulldog boys traveled to DeSales Friday, but struggled in a losing effort, 56-38 The bulldogs came out aggressively, taking a 10-9 lead after one quarter, but couldn’t match up to the taller Irish. Zach Waggoner scored 20 points for the Bulldogs, and Ben Kleck added 13. Each had a three-pointer. On Saturday, the Bulldogs hosted Asotin and fell, 60-36. WAITSBURG – The Waitsburg Knowledge Bowl team is performing well and looking forward to the regional meet to take place at Waitsburg High School on Feb. 23. KB advisor Brad Green said he “hopes and expects” his team to once again qualify for the state meet on March 14 in Arlington, Wash.
