PRESCOTT - They might have had the home court, but WP wrestlers didn't have the advantage at Wednesday's meet against Pomeroy in Prescott. The Pirates walked away with wins in every match. Adding insult to injury (or maybe the other way around), WP wrestler Kavin Kuykendall sustained a broken collarbone, ending his season. WP Coach Lanny Adams said Pomeroy came, "ready to wrestle and it showed." He attributed some of his team's weak performance to the fact that it had been nearly two weeks s...

We had a weekend guest recently. This particular guest was loud, demanding and wreaked havoc on our weekend plans. Everything revolved around him. I'd been in favor of him staying with us but, frankly, I wasn't sad to see him go. Yes, we just finished up our weekend hosting "Baby Think It Over." One might consider it more accurate to say that my son finished up his weekend with the baby, but the babe affected us all. Babies are like that. "Baby Think It Over" is an infant simulator aimed at...

Nearly 50 years later, Freeman has returned to Dayton, along with his son Dan, and their families. Bill and Dan run Bill Feeman Bits, which they've relocated from Rainier, Wash., so...
I confess, I would rather have seen the Seattle Seahawks lose the Super Bowl last week by one point, than to have won it the way they did. From the beginning, I heard nothing except how strong Seattle was defensively, and how strong Denver was offensively. I heard great things about the great Peyton Manning. The teams were both 15-3 going into the Super Bowl. We were all expecting an exciting and dramatic game. It was anything but. I don't know what happened to the Broncos. I'm sure the analy...
