    WAITSBURG – At the regular Jan. 17 meeting, Waitsburg City Council members gave City Manager Randy Hinchliffe the go-ahead to explore development of a Park & Ride lot on the north end of town. The Park & Ride would be located on the site of the old county shop, just west of the newly replaced Main Street Bridge.   • Fire Destroys Shop and Damages Home

    WAITSBURG – Fire destroyed a shop and badly damaged an adjacent home in Waitsburg early Saturday morning. The fire is believed to have originated at the wood stove in the shop. The home and shop are owned by City of Waitsburg Public Works Director Jim Lynch and his wife Becky.
