DAYTON – The Dayton girls’ softball team overcame a four-run deficit to defeat Colton here Monday night, 9-8. The winning run came on a walk-off RBI single by Kellie Moore in the bottom of the seventh inning. Colton scored four runs in the top of the fifth inning to take a 7-3 lead. LEWISTON – Dayton senior Angela Mascall had an outstanding day in the sprints at last week’s District 9 1B/2B meet in Lewiston on March 23. Mascall won the 100 meters with a time of 13.7 seconds, and took second in the 200 meters with a time of 29.6. Mascall was also part of the second-place 4 X 100 relay team, which also included Alexus Wanlarbkam, Emily McFarland and Neylan Bryan.
