Commercial Club Past PresidentTom Baker officially presented Mary Phillips with her 2016 Waitsburg Community Service Award during the May 3 Waitsburg Commercial Club meeting. Phillips was named as the recipient last month, but was out of town and unable to receive the award. When accepting the award, Phillips credited her late husband, Bud, with their return to Waitsburg, from Whidby Island saying, "He really loved the people here."...
