    WALLA WALLA – The Waitsburg-Prescott boys' track team took a convincing win in the regular season's final meet at Martin Field in Walla Walla on May 6.     WALLA WALLA – Without their lead point-scorer, Kaitlyn Andrews, who missed the meet, the Dayton Girls’ Track team scored an impressive third place tie out of six teams at the District 9 meet in Walla Walla last week. Their point total of 64 tied Garfield Palouse, and trailed winner Asotin and runner up DeSales. Dayton junior Angela Mascall won the 100 meter race, with teammate Carissa Price finishing third.     DAYTON – Dayton sophomore Sidney Andrews has been invited to play in the Washington/North Idaho All-State Girls' Basketball Game, which will be held June 20 in Liberty Lake, east of Spokane. Andrews was chosen for the B East Team, based on her performance this year leading the Dayton girls' basketball team to the final eight in the state playoffs.     PRESCOTT – The Waitsburg-Prescott baseball team hosted Garfield-Palouse on May 6, and limited the Viking offense to one run, winning 4-1. Defensive miscues allowed Gar-Pal to pick up a quick first-inning run, but pitcher Talen Larsen then held G-P scoreless through the sixth, giving up just five hits.     PRESCOTT – The Waitsburg-Prescott girls' softball team dropped two one-run games to Garfield-Palouse on Saturday, 17-16 and 9-8. In Game 1, the Lady Tigers jumped on the Vikings with 12 runs in the first inning and four more in the second.
