DAYTON—The overall financial picture for the Columbia County Health System is positive, according to Tom Dingus, with DZA and Associates, an independent auditing firm that works with the Hospital District. DAYTON – Columbia County Prosecutor Rea Culwell, came to an agreement last week with the College Place City Council to serve as prosecuting attorney for that city beginning immediately. Culwell told The Times she expects the College Place job to take about 10 hours per week, and she will do most of that work evenings and weekends. WAITSBURG – Twenty-two sellers have signed up with The Times to have their yard sales added to the annual Yard Sale Map this year. Waitsburg's annual yard sale happens Saturday. Dear Editor, I apologize to the community for showing off doing wheelies with my old Ford Tractor in Saturday’s Waitsburg Parade, May 19th. Team ends successful season with loss to Onalaska for 22-8 final record YAKIMA – The Dayton-Waitsburg softball team played two games each, Friday and Saturday, at the state tournament here, ending their season with a 11-4 loss to Onalaska Saturday afternoon.
