    DAYTON – The Walla Walla Blue Mountain Archers group is inviting archers of all ages to participate in an archery shoot at Ski Bluewood on Saturday and Sunday. Onsite registration begins at 6 p.m. Friday. Camping and food will be available.   • Larsen to Play in Dominican Republic

    WAITSBURG – Recent Waitsburg High graduate and baseball star Talen Larsen has been invited to travel to the Dominican Republic with WSU Baseball Coach Michael Naughton. Larsen will join 14 other players the week of July 28 to August 3. They will work with a small group of players, Dominican coaches and a Division I baseball coach, improving their skills.     WAITSBURG – Three Waitsburg High baseball players are currently playing summer baseball in Walla Walla. Recent graduate Talen Larsen is playing with the Walla Walla Bears this summer. The Bears are a 19-up independent travel team. They will have played 55 games from May through July. The team is coached by Brian Kitamura and is made up of college students and graduating high school seniors.
