I drove with trepidation toward Walla Walla on Friday morning, waiting for the inevitable back-up of cars. An area of more than 2,250 acres is burning this week in the Grizzly Bear Complex Fire in Columbia County. The fire is burning in the Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness, about 20 miles southeast of Dayton.
