    William "Bill" Carter, 75, of Dayton, passed away on August 12th, 2024, at his mountain home. Bill was born in Walla Walla on May 4th, 1949. He was raised in Walla Walla and Grandview and graduated from Grandview High School in 1967. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served two tours in Vietnam.
