    10 WHS graduate, Jared Farley, received a pleasant surprise last week when he learned he had been awarded a $10,000 Milotte Foundation Scholarship. The award is funded by photographers and filmmakers, Alfred and Elma Milotte whose goal is to "perpetuate a passion for the natural wonders of our world."     Lady Cards finished 19th out of 32 teams after long day of tourney play YAKIMA – Members of the Waitsburg girls' volleyball team got up early last Friday and drove to Yakima, where they made a strong showing, finishing 19th out of 32 teams. The Lady Cards played three two-set matches in morning pool play, and then played two more matches in bracket play in the afternoon.
