    WAITSBURG – This year’s Hometown Christmas will mark the 30th anniversary of the popular community event. The one-day event, celebrated the first Sunday in December each year, will take place Dec. 6.     The Prescott Tigers volleyball team gave the Waitsburg Cardinals a run for their money during an Oct. 20 game on the Tiger court.     LA GRANDE, Ore. – For the third time this season, Eastern Oregon University quarterback, and former Waitsburg High star, Zach Bartlow was awarded Frontier Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance against Montana Tech on Saturday in Whitefish, Mont.
