This thoughtful group of residents helped Naylor mount a large sign on Joanne and Bill Poolman's barn on eastbound Highway 12. The sign with Naylor's image gives contact information on how to become a living kidney donor.   • Lash LaRue builds wrestling team

    WAITSBURG - Lash LaRue has wrestled for about 17 years. He is now in his first year as head coach of the Waitsburg High School wrestling team. The team has newcomers joining experienced wrestlers on this year's wrestling program. The young men are practicing hard as they look forward to their first jamboree.     WAITSBURG - The foodbank at the Waitsburg Resource Center (WRC) was visited again this year by Stephanie Hinchliffe's first-grade class. The generous students donated 119 items weighing 95 pounds. Ginger Brown, a member of the WRC, said, "They did a great job and surpassed this year's goal and deserve a shout-out for being rockstars."     WAITSBURG — It was a full house at the annual Veteran’s Benefit Bingo event sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary on Sunday, November 26. Close to 100 people had the chance to win a turkey, ham, and cash. In the last game of the afternoon, a blackout bingo paid $100.
