    The Times|Dec 24, 2015

Ten Years Ago December 29, 2005 While Waitsburg may not appear to change significantly from year to year, 2005 will go down as a landmark year for the city and environs. Chief among the outward changes is the new bridge over Coppei Creek on the Preston Avenue/Highway 12 entrance. Fire made its changes to the Blue Mountains as the School Fire drastically altered the landscape there, and the homes of Mike and Markeeta Hubbard, and Robert and Terri Abernathy were lost to flames. The old Bolles School was also damaged by fire. On the brighter...

As Santa would say, “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good 2016.” A Visit from St. Nicholas By Clement Clark Moore ‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse; The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there; The children were nestled all snug in their beds, While v...

    The Times|Dec 24, 2015

By Chris Cillizza, The Washington Post This year has been the weirdest, most watchable and most difficult to predict in my two decades of covering politics.
