WAITSBURG-Facebook was filled with posts of multiple sightings of a mama bear and cub on the southeast end of Waitsburg on the evening of June 13. WALLA WALLA COUNTY—The Washington State Legislature re-authorized the Walla Walla Watershed Management Partnership, for two years, which will be a time of transition for the organization. The organization was also allocated $500,000 in funding, which will be used to develop a long-term plan and fund a new organizational structure for the Walla Walla Watershed. WAITSBURG-When the Girls Scouts of Waitsburg learned that the Lewis & Clark Trail State Park was the only park in the state without a flagpole, they set out to do something about it.
