    On April 16, 2020, the Environmental Protection Agency (epa.gov) announced their final rule to withdraw the federal water quality standards for certain human health criteria in Washington (40 CFR 131.45) The final rule will be effective 30 days after posting in the Federal Register. Distributions will be available every Tuesday from 2 - 4 p.m. with a drive by pick-up option.     WAITSBURG—The Waitsburg School District began serving sack breakfast and lunches following Governor Jay Inslee’s mandatory school closure in March. Originally the service had designated areas around Waitsburg for families to pick up meals, however, the district has decided to make changes to help further prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease.
