DAYTON—Dayton voters are being asked to consider two levy measures on their February 11th ballots. The District is running an Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy and a Capital Technology & Facilities Levy. The measures are not new taxes. They will replace expiring levies approved by voters in 2016. DAYTON—The Columbia County Hospital (CCHS) Board of Commissioners heard a bit of good financial news at their December meeting. The Finance Committee received an adjustment letter from their Medicare intermediary, Noridian, saying CCHS owes Medicare $833,000.00, an amount considerably less than the 1.5 million that was originally thought. The Dayton School Board gave a big thumbs up Wednesday night at their monthly meeting to approving the indefinite union of the Dayton-Waitsburg grades 7-12 combined athletic endeavors in all sports.
