    Columbia Walla Walla Fire District 2 held a vehicle extrication class Saturday in Waitsburg involving ten volunteer staff. Vehicle extrication is the process of removing a vehicle from around a person who has been involved in a motor vehicle collision. Damaged cars were donated by Kyle's Custom Toys & Towing of Dayton for the class.     WAITSBURG—Basin Disposal, Inc., will only offer leaf pickup in Dayton. The garbage disposal company previously shared with our paper that there would be free leaf pickup for customers in Waitsburg and Prescott as well as Dayton. However, that offer has since been retracted. Basin Disposal customers in Waitsburg and Prescott may arrange to have leaves picked up by the company for an extra cost.     WAITSBURG—The Taggart Road Extension project is underway on the east end of town, and the City of Waitsburg is looking for name suggestions for the resulting road. The new road connects Taggart Road and Highway 12 by extending the straight stretch that already exists on Taggart Road.     WAITSBURG-Over the weekend, the Waitsburg's Blessing Box located next to the Waitsburg Christian Church was damaged yet again.
