Last Good Deed Of 55 Plus Club: Members of the Waitsburg 55 Plus club donated $1,200 to the Ye Town Hall project Tuesday. The club, established in the early 1980s to provide socialization for local seniors, once had 80 to 100 members, but the numbers have dwindled so low that this month club officers voted to dissolve the club. Members recalled how the organization used to gather regularly for meetings, dances, cards, Bingo games and more at Ye Town Hall and wanted to donate money left in the club's bank account toward the hall's restoration.
