He won Gold in three-man basketball, Gold in shot put, Silver in javelin, Bronze in free throw and Bronze in discus. Rubenser was followed by Jerry Spoonemore, who lives in Edmonds but graduated from Dayton High School in 1957. As a teammate of Rubenser, Spoonemore got Gold in three-man basketball, Gold in basketball hot shot and Silver in free throw. Last but not least was Waitsburg's own Skip Winchester who won Bronze in shot put and Bronze in table tennis. Susan Anfinson and her partner Sandy Huse, both from Walla Walla, won Gold in tennis. Rubenser, Spoonemore and Winchester were among 2,000 from around the state who participated in the 2010 games.
