LOCAL PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT RETIRES

WAITSBURG - Ken Dyball, physician assistant for the Columbia County Hospital District and Waitsburg Family Clinic, will be retiring on Aug. 27 after 30 years in the medi­cal field. The hospital district invites members of the community to a no-host retirement reception for Dyball on Aug. 26 from 4-6 p.m. in the Dayton Hospital Cafeteria.

Dyball began his medical training in the Navy in 1966 as a hospital corpsman. Since his retirement from the Navy in 1993, Dyball has practiced medicine in Camas, Wash., Tonasket, Wash., and finally Dayton. Dyball and his wife Karen, of 40 years, have three children and three grandchil­dren.
