Threats. Threats reported on Petticord Road, Dayton. 8-19: Vandalism. Vandalism reported on Washington Ave., Dayton. Vehicle Prowl. Theft of wallet from vehicle reported on Main Street, Dayton. Non-injury Accident. Two-vehicle, non-injury accident reported on 2nd and Main, Dayton. Animal Barking. Big white dog reported to stand at the fence behind a residence on Guernsey Ave., Dayton, and bark for hours. Juvenile Problem. Report of something shot through a pickup window on Main Street, Dayton. Sick Animal. Report of a starving dog in yard with two other healthy looking dogs on Harlem Street, Dayton. Suspicious. Possible illegal burn/small campfire in the county reported on US Highway 12. Nothing found. 8-20: Abandoned Vehicle. Property owner on Loney Road, near Prescott, 1.4 miles from Harvey Shaw Road, discovered someone went through their fence on Laney Road. The vehicle was found nearby abandoned. Appears the vehicle swerved to miss something on the road, crossed both lanes and struck the barb wire fence. Suspicious. Suspicious person reported on 3rd Street, Dayton. Lost Property. Lost cell phone reported on Robinette Mountain Road, Dayton.

Vandalism. Resident on Commercial, Dayton, filed a com­plaint that unknown driver ran over her flowers. Noise. Resident on Skyline, Dayton, reported that nearby cabin owners were targeting shooting on a regular basis. Deputy advised they could so long as they were safe about it. 8-22: Found Property. Found a child's pink scooter in yard on 3rd Street, Dayton. Vandalism. Vandalism to vehicle reported on 5th Avenue, Dayton. Suspicious. Large green tarp blew into yard on Dayton Avenue, Dayton. Had a bad smell and investigation found it belonged to nearby taxidermy shop. Animal Stray. Missing dog reported on Tucannon Rd., Dayton. Staffordshire Terrier, female, white/black spots, has vaccine tag and chip.
