FAMILY RESOURCE TEAM AVAILABLE

DAYTON - A group of concerned citizens is ready and willing to listen to and offer ideas to families who may be struggling or are not sure where to go to get the services they need. The Family Advocacy Resource Team started as a way to help connect individuals and families with available resources in our area.

"Too often we are seeing families reach the crisis point before they are able to get the help they need. Our goal is to connect families to resources and solutions before they reach that point" says spokesperson Nancy Butler.

This team is not affiliated with any one agency or orga­nization. The members represent community agencies or groups who want to connect with families. The team meets twice a month and encourages referrals from family friends, ministers, counselors or teachers.
