Lifelong Waitsburg resident Patsy Abel, 72, died at home. A loving housewife, moth­er grandmother and great grandmother, she will be missed. Patsy was a member of the Dayton art club, she painted wonderful oil and water paintings. She was a member of Dayton art club. The daughter of Arthur and Viola Stedman in Waits­burg, Wash. Patsy May Abel was born on October 12, 1935. She graduated from Waitsburg in 1953 and mar­ried James Richard Abel in 1954. Patsy is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Abel, at home in Waitsburg, daughter, Karhi LeClerc and children: Alex Lydia of Bowe, Wash.; son Tim

Abel and children: Nathaniel and wife Carrie daughters; Gabriel Tylor and wife Chelsie Ashley daughter Teresa Abel; and three sisters: Rose Ri­nell

of Portland, Ore., Pearl Bickelhaupt of Dayton, and Carolyn Thompson of Walla Walla.

Arrangements are in care of Professional Funeral Di­rectors and Crematory in­Walla Walla, Wash.
