ENGAGED

Mark and Joanna Lanning announce the engage­ment of their daughter, Marci Jo M. Lanning of Dayton, to Jorge A. Martinez of Touchet. Jorge is the son of Jose and Carmen Martinez of Touchet.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Waitsburg High School and will graduate from the Water Resource Technol­ogy program at Walla Walla Community College in 2011. Marci Jo is employed by Sterling Restaurant and works with Camp Fire in Walla Walla. The groom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Touchet High School and is manger of Personal Touch Carpet Cleaning in Walla Walla. An October 2 wedding celebration is planned at Lewis Clark State Park.
