The Cardinals were the first to score on it's second possession. They simply marched into the red zone and handed it to Cady who ran it in for a touchdown. But Dalton Estes' kick was wide, so WP w as ahead 6-0.

A few minutes into the second quarter, TOR scored it's first touchdown and its extra-point kick was good to out them ahead 7-6 until the Cardinals scored again with a touchdown pass to TJ Hofer, who also caught Zach Bartlow's pass for the 2-point conversion. the first half ended with WP up 14-7.

The fateful Cady turnover came in the third quarter and led to the Nighthawks' second touchdown. Cady immediately redeemed himself by blocked the extra point. The score was now 14-13 and would remain that way thanks to tough defensive battle that Cardinals won.
