Rose’s on Main Street:

Owner Rosa Perez stands outside her new Rose's Gift Shop location at 214 Main Street in Waitsburg. The flower, candy and gift shop opened in the old Nothing New Antiques building at the beginning of this month. Rose's opened this summer at the intersection of Highway 12 and State Route 124 in Waitsburg. Along with a new address, Rose's now offers new services including cell phones and a bill-pay sta­tion, where customers can pay a variety of bills at the store from power bills to Sears credit card bills. "I think business has been a little better at this spot," Perez said. With more room and front window displays, Perez said she may even bring in some clothing and accessories.
