In the Touchet Valley, Dumas Station Winery will join in the festivities with samples poured from new releases and straight out of the barrel, paired with local cheeses and festive decorations, on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dumas Station is located on Highway 12 just four miles west of Dayton. Waitsburg Turkey Bingo, sponsored by the Waitsburg American Legion Auxiliary Post #35, begins at 4 p.m. in Ye Towne Hall in downtown Waitsburg. Bingo winners will take home a turkey.
Food, friends and entertainment await those who attend the Prescott CommunityDinner at the community center. Kids' crafts begin at 4:30 p.m. and dinner, including ham, turkey and all the traditional fixings, will be served at 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Goody bags and crafts are planned for the kids. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. all ladies are invited to bring a friend and enjoy Ladies' Night Out, an evening making wish lists and sampling refreshments at a variety of shops on Dayton's Main Street. Participating retailers will stay open late into the evening. Wish lists will remain on file at each store to make holiday shopping easier for your friends and family. A wide variety of vendors will set up shop for Kids' Night to Shop in Waitsburg's Ye Towne Hall from 6-8 p.m. Children can shop for Christmas gifts to give to friends and family on their list. A Tree of Life Ceremony will take place at the Die Brucke Building, on the corner of Main and First in Walla Walla. The ceremony, sponsored by Walla Walla Community Hospice, includes the reading of names in the Tree of Life book, music, candle lighting and refreshments.
