Return Of The Alumni

The Bulldogs faced tough competition Monday night as they went head to head against more than two dozen Dayton alumni in an exhibition game that drew big crowds and enthusiasm from the community. The alumni won against both the girls' (40-28) and boys' (56-51) teams. Pictured here is 1997 graduate Clay Hutchens playing offense against current Bulldogs Colton Bickelhaupt (left) and Joey Schlachter. In the background are alumni Tom Howard (class of 1998) on the right and Mike Gembala (class of 1997) on the left. All three men, along with another member of the alumni team not pictured, Will Hutchens (class of 1995) were on the varsity squad in 1995, the year the Bulldogs took state in basketball.
