POLICE NOTES

1-23: Theft. Several items taken from a yard on 4th Street, Dayton, over time including a pickup bed extension.

Illegal Burn. Illegal brush pile burn reported on Patit Road, Dayton.

Theft. Theft of a snowboard reported at Ski Bluewood.

1-22: Accident. Single vehicle rollover accident reported on Highway 12 near Dayton. Driver was not injured; some damage to fence reported.

Illegal Burn. Juveniles started a small fire on Washington and 5th in Dayton; parents were advised and will handle discipline.

Theft. Theft of a snowboard reported at Ski Bluewood.

1-21: Vehicle Prowl. Vehicle prowl reported on Harlem Road, Dayton.

Theft. A resident on 5th Street, Waitsburg, heard a loud slam and the sound of running feet at about 4 a.m. Friday. He looked out the window and observed his Toyota pickup resting on its axles. The suspect apparently jacked the truck up, removed the 38x15.5 Super Swamper tired and polished aluminum wheels, valued at $2,000, and then dropped the truck onto the pavement.

Theft. Shoplifter caught on security camera, E. Main Street, Dayton.

1-20: Theft. Theft of gas reported on Preston Ave., Waitsburg.

1-18: Vandalism. Vandalism to vehicle reported on E. Patit Ave., Dayton.
