POLICE NOTES

1-31: Assault. Assault reported on E. Richmond Ave., Dayton.

1-29: Theft. Sometime in the last 10 days, an unknown suspect broke the lock on a storage unit on Preston Avenue, in Waitsburg, and stole several items including a red floor jack, a rigid snake sewer drain, Snap-On tools and tool box, miscellaneous tool bag, air hose and tools, and a McCulloch leaf blower, for a total value over $1,400. No other units were tampered with.

1-27: Shoplifting. Shoplifter reported on E. Main Street, Dayton. Deputy responded and arrested the subject on suspicion on theft 3rd degree.

Suspicious. Suspicious person reported at a school bus stop on S. 4th Street, Dayton.

Disturbance. Neighborhood disturbance reported on E. Washington Ave., Dayton.

Prowler. Prowler reported on S. 5th Street, Dayton.

Threats. Reporting party on E. Richmond Ave., Dayton, received threats.

Juvenile Problem. Kids with pellet guns on Main Road, Huntsville, were shooting at passing vehicles.

1-26: Theft. Theft of an Ipod from student at Dayton schools reported.

Loitering. Male subject loitering and panhandling in IGA parking lot in Dayton.

Prowler. Someone was reported on a porch trying the doorknob on E. Tremont Street, Dayton.

1-25: Threats. Threats against a juvenile were reported on N. Touchet Road, Dayton.

1-24: Illegal Burn. Illegal burn pile reported on Highway 261 near Dayton. Deputy advised the subject it was not a burn day and he said he'd put out the fire.

Traffic Hazard. Semi truck parked in turn lane on W. Main Street, Dayton, with its flashers on. He said he was visiting a relative at the location and was advised to park in designated area in the future.
