The opener against De- Sales last week was scoreless until the bottom of the third when Alyssa Hafen made it safely on base then continued to steal her way across the plate to put the first run of the day on the board.

The Tigers continued to battle DeSales pitcher Ashlyn

Lyons who struck out four batters in the nest two innings.

"We didn't get the batting practice that we needed to prepare for Lyons due to weather," said head coach Angie Potts. "I didn't think it would take us a whole game to get her figured out, but we cut our strike outs in half in game two and really started to hit the ball."

Sara Wilson picked up two hits in the night cap and Chelsey Brannock had one. Katy Hofer knocked out two doubles and Hailey Goenen pulled out her guns and shot her fifth home run of the season over the heads of the Irish to score two in the bottom of the fifth inning.
