Kindergartners from Waitsburg and Prescott had lunch together last week as part of a field day exchange between the schools, which have a sports combine that brings together high schoolers on a regular basis. K-3 grades got together at Waitsburg Elementary, while 4-6 grades went to Prescott. A total of about 250 students participated in the day that included all sorts of games and activities designed to "build relations," as Waitsburg Superintendent Dr. Carol Clarke put it.
