OBITUARY

Our dearest Richard left us to be with our lord and savior on July 20, 2011.

Richard K. Harper was born one of two kids to the late Marguerite and Wayne Harper in Portland Ore on July 21, 1927.

Richard enlisted in the Navy in 1945 and graduated in 1952 from WSU.

He became a dry land Wheat farmer for 12 years, and then began a career in irrigation in 1971.He worked for various irrigation companies but ending his career with Skone Irrigation and Northwest AG Products out of Pasco Wash.

Richard was active in a variety of events, which included Masonic Lodge, Lions Club, VFW, and Kiwanis. He also enjoyed attending and was re-baptized in 2009 at the Living Room Church which provided him peace and comfort throughout the remainder of his life. Richard is survived by his wife, Judy Harper and his children, Tracy B Ryan, Judy Deines, Kelly and Ed Wood, Jeffery and Kathy Harper, Richard II and Monica Harper. Grandchildren Jim Ryan, Kendra Deines, Shawn Harper, Kate Wood, Stephanie Payne, Nick Harper, Alex Harper, and M. Elizabeth Eller.

Richard Harper was laid to rest next to other family, in the Waitsburg Cemetery.
