DEATH NOTICE

John William Thompson, known as Bill Thompson, was born on May 23, 1930. He died Sept. 17, 2011 in Waitsburg. He was 81 years old.

A funeral will be held Monday at the First Christian Church at 11 a.m. with burial to follow here in Waitsburg. Following his burial will a community luncheon at Town Hall. The First Christian Church will provide rolls and lunch meat. Those attending are asked to bring salad or dessert. There will be someone at Town Hall from 9 to 11 a.m. to receive the food. A family obit will run in the Times next week.
