Acoustic Jam Night Skye Book & Brew 6:30 p.m. Musicians of all ages join at Skye Book & Brew for a Friday Night Jam. Visitors are invited to participate or listen and enjoy.

A Christmas Carol Dec. 2 and 3 The Liberty Theater This is a live production of the Charles Dickens classic story. The show on Friday is at 7 p.m. and the show on Saturday is at 3 p.m. Tickets are available at the theater or online at www.libertytheater.org.

Walla Walla Valley Holiday Barrel Tasting Dec. 2 through Dec. 4 Local wineries offer art, music, food and wine and offer special tastings of their future releases. Many use their tastings to benefit charities. For more information, visit www.wallawallawine.com.

Waitsburg's Hometown Christmas Dec. 3 and 4 Waitsburg rings in the holiday season with Turkey Bingo, vendors and crafts, caroling, coffee, cookies, pictures with Santa Claus, chili feed and a lighted parade. The fun starts on Saturday at Ye Old Towne Hall with Turkey Bingo at 4 p.m. Craft vendors will set up at noon. Santa arrives at 1:30 p.m. On Sunday, special merchandise drawings will be held at 3:30 p.m. and the parade starts at 5 p.m. Get a bowl full of warm chili after the parade.

Prescott Community Holiday Dinner Prescott Community Center The Community Club and the Prescott Lions Club has holiday crafts for kids from 4 to 5 p.m. and dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. The dinner will have turkey, ham, beverages and traditional fixings. Caroling starts at dinnertime. For more information, call 509-849-2621.

Live Music Mace Meadworks 8 p.m. Zack Winterton and RJ Baker share the Meadworks stage at 8 p.m. The Meadworks is located at 250 E. Main Street. Call 509-540- 0000.

Time Out For Tea Delany Room, Dayton Memorial Library 4 to 6 p.m. Christmas Tea is held on Sunday this month. All ladies are invited for free tea, dinner and Christmas fun. Bring a couple dozen of your favorite holiday cookies or candy for the Christmas Cookie Exchange. On-site childcare provided. Cal l 509- 382- 2248. RSVPs appreciated.

An Old Time Christmas Party will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Waitsburg Hardware & Mercantile.

Nevada Slim & Cimarron Sue will be there and there will be a book signing by Carolyn Parker who authored "Squeaky's Farm." All proceeds benefit Black Dog Rescue.
