ANNIVERSARY

Friends and family are invited to share in celebrating the 60th wedding anniversary of Tom and Anita Baker at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, in the Waitsburg Presbyterian Church.

The couple were married in Denver, Colorado and moved to Waitsburg in 1963 where Tom started his career as publisher and editor of The Times. The couple has been members of the Presbyterian Church for many years.

Over the years, Tom has been an active member of the Masonic Lodge, the Lions Club, Commercial Club, Inquiry Club and is a past Mayor of Waitsburg. He retired from Waitsburg Times in 1992.

A dedicated teacher, Anita retired from Waitsburg School District in 1992. She serves as choir director of the Waitsburg Presbyterian Church, is a member of the Order of Eastern Star and past-president of Waitsburg Historical Society.

The reception is being hosted by their children and spouses: Charles and Patty Baker, Loyal and Charlotte Baker; and Peggy Henry; and their eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
