Waitsburg Band Students Ring In The Holidays

On Monday night, the community was treated to "Sleigh Ride," a program with musical performances by the middle and high school bands, and the high school guitar class. Top: Band teacher Brad Green directs the high school band in four performances, including "Don't Stop Believing." Left: Sixth grader Clarissa Espana, whose music teacher is Rebecca Wilson, performs her solo version of "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer." Above: Mandolin player Samuel McGowen and guitarist Chris Philbrook, also both in Wilson's class, rouse the crowd with their rendition of "Christmas Time Is Coming" and "I'll Fly Away." The Christmas concerts featured 16 songs and involved 55 students.
