Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley
Wilbur and Jeanie Fletcher of Dayton will be celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary on March 2, 2012.
They were married March 2, 1957 in Pomeroy in The Holy Rosary Church. Wilbur's best man was Bob Lingow and Jeanie's maid of honor was Sally Bartels. The couple has four children, Connie (Craig) Ritter from Milton-Freewater, Ore., Kathy (Steve) Steinhoff from Dayton, Kelli (Tony) Currin from Dayton and Sheryl Fletcher from Quantsino, British Columbia.
They have nine grandchildren Nikki (Chad) Brinkman from Molalla, Ore., Andrea (Todd) Kelly from Walla Walla, Nathan Ritter from Wyoming, Kelsie Ritter from Milton-Freewater, Amber Steinhoff from Heppner, Ore., Tanner (Kelly) Steinhoff from Dayton, Cassie Steinhoff from Dayton and Carter and Shayla Currin from Dayton.
They have six greatgrandchildren: Kyla Connall and Madison Kelly from Walla Walla, Shaylee Brinkman from Molalla, Colton and Rilee Steinhoff from Dayton and Lainee McKamey from Dayton. The couple enjoys going to their Canada home in Quantsino to fish and shrimp. Wilbur still oversees his business Wilbur Fletcher, Inc and Jeanie volunteers her time at St. Vincent De Paul's and is very involved in all her church activities. They are both active doing things they enjoy with family and friends.
