Tigers Pounce On Jaguars

PASCO -- The WP Tigers improved to a 2-2 league record sweeping the Tri-City Prep Jaguars last Saturday afternoon.

Zach Bartlow earned his second win of the season pitching for the Tigers, while Chris Manzano, Dalton Estes, David Herzog and Justin Zuger rattled the bats for multiple hits that led to a 23-5 victory in game one.

"It was the best outing at the plate all season," said Tiger head coach Dustin Snediger. "Our bats have been struggling but we made some adjustments with the lin-up and found production."

Estes earned his first win of the season on the night cap of the double header pitching for the Tigers while Riley Stevens, Tucker Alleman, Bartlow and Manzano kept the hits coming for an 18-4 victory. Together as a whole the Tigers collected 25 hits on the day.

"It was great to see the kids respond," said Snediger. "We needed it"
