DAYTON -- Blue Moun- tain Counseling and the Columbia County Sheriff's Office have partnered up to create the team Full Throttle and to raise money for Relay for Life.
They will be holding a Full Throttle fundraiser event Sunday from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at the Dayton Depot, Blue Mountain Counseling Administrative Assistant Michelle Swan said.
The event will feature a barbecue for $4.50 per person or $20 for a family of five.
The Faith Street and Grace Band will be playing from 1 to 3 p.m. Swan said. Sheriff Walt Hessler will be running the barbecue and cooking the hot dogs.
There will also be a silent auction for items including decorative items, lunch for two at Patit Creek and an airplane ride, Swan said. There will also be a dunk tank at which deputies and firemen will be in the hot seat to be dunked.
Money raised during the event will all go toward the Relay for Life event which will take place at the Day- ton track and field on Sept. 15.
