Kenneth E. Finch

Kenneth E Finch, age 67, of Walla Walla died at home July 24, 2012, following a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Ken was born April 29, 1945, in Ordance, Oregon, to Robert and Etha Finch.

Ken grew up mainly in Waitsburg, and after many years away from his roots, returned to the Walla Walla area in 2007 after a long career in the airline industry. He was a proud American and served our country in the Vietnam War. He loved fly fishing in local streams and enjoyed countless hobbies and projects, never having a dull moment in his much deserved retirement.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Cathy Finch, as well as his son Bryant Finch, and daughter Jennifer Finch (Jared Jensen), and their new baby Elodie Finch Jensen, Ken's beautiful new and only grandchild. He also leaves older sister Roberta Finch Collingwood, and brothers Ralph (Patricia) Finch, Nolan (Lee Nore) Finch, Richard Finch, and Dan Finch, as well as many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, Godchildren and close friends who all loved him very much.

He is preceded in death by both parents, and an older sister, Peggy Finch Mason.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date and location to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, memori- al contributions may be made to Walla Walla Community Hospice or the Cancer Center at St. Mary's Hospital.
