To the Editor,

I had the opportunity last Friday to stop in Waitsburg on my way to Lewiston, Idaho. I felt compelled to write and tell all of you what a nice town you have. The old homes and buildings that have been maintained throughout the years show such pride of ownership as well as a strong sense of a caring community. You know how you can get a feel for a town just driving through it? I was immedi- ately drawn to your city, and in fact parked my car just so I could walk around down- town and enjoy the friendly people and wonderful busi- nesses.

You as citizens should be very proud of Waitsburg and the small-town charm that's projected. It shows that you care very much. Good job!
